Remembering our fallen soldiers

This section is an online memorial for the fallen soldiers' (whether they have a known grave or not). Each battalion involved in the November 5th attack have their own memorial page. I have also included a page for any other Australian soldier's that died around November 5th.

NOTE: If you look for these soldiers at the Commonwealth War Graves site and/or on the Australian War Memorial site you may find their death dates ranging from November 3rd to 6th or 7th.

As my great-grandfather (Thomas Rutherford) fought in the 1st battalion and this is where my researching all began.

The 1st battalion soldiers' each have a personal page where family members can have any items linked to the soldier uploaded to. I also have on these pages links to the various military files for the soldier and I have placed a photograph of the headstone or memorials in France. I will eventually make the same pages for the other soldiers.
