This attack took place at a section referred to by the soldiers as the triangle. This triangle was made up of German machine gun points.
The 1st battalion and 3rd battalion were involved in this area of the attack.
There were three attempts made by the 1st battalion on this sailent on the night/morning of November 4th/5th 1916.
For more specific details please refer to the respective battalion pages.
My research is still continuing, so there will be more information added to this page as I go, so do not forget to check back.
